Previous Meeting
Everyone was happy with the Minutes
The Dog Fouling poster had been laminated and was on the gate
Assets
A meeting with Amicia, Andrew and Mark had taken place to review insurance and budgeting for depreciation. Report on progress later in the year ACTION Mark
Bench in Memorial to Terence Marsden,
The aim is to have the bench with its engraving ready for Sports Day.

Football on The Green
The Rhodes had contacted Mark about issues they are having on accessing their drive due to cars parked by people playing football on The Green. Kevin also advised that bad language had also been used. Football was being played regularly from about 7.30 to 9pm. Mark had spoken to Russell and he was going to mention it to George to see if he knew who the people were to have a word about being considerate to The Greens neighbours. ACTION Russell
Visit the Green to speak to the players about being more careful with parking and language. ACTION Mark
It was reported there was a little bit of litter on The Green but Bob said it was normally tidy
2010 IDEAS
Andrew advised the meeting that Victoria is making progress.
The aim is to establish the Terence Marsden trail using the
route that Victoria is working on. Progress this with the Council when
everything is finalised. The idea is to use basic information which is only
visible from the path which will all be on public rights of way.
100 Club
As Jon was away the draw was carried over for another month.
EVENT REPORTS
Garden Party on Saturday
13th June at The Manor Organiser Ann
It had been a
great success and raised over £1600 to be shared between the Bishops Offley
Chapel roof and Adbaston Community Room.
FUTURE EVENTS
Sports Day on
Saturday 11th July There will be no overall Organiser

The tables and chairs from CartmelÕs are at RaymondÕs. (They are not on a trailer as discussed at the meeting)
A toilet has been booked. Find out day of delivery so gate can be left unlocked ACTION Bob and Raymond
The normal source of 30 small straw bales is no longer available. Check other availability by this weekend Harry ACTION Patrick, Work colleague ACTION Amicia (They do not have any bales) Julia and Chris ACTION Sarah
If bales are not available we will have to bring chairs. To be decided early next week ACTION Sarah

The theme this year is to be BALLS. The event will be similar to the Olympics
Entrance £2 Adult, Children Free then all events are free.
There is no Promises Auction this year.

Raffle
There will be a raffle set up on a table in the tea tents. Please can people donate raffle prizes and bring them on the Saturday morning. ACTION ALL

The tombola is being run by Liz Hemmingway and Pat Kennedy.

There will be no big prizes
There will be no medals so stall holders were asked to provide the prizes needed for their event ACTION ALL
Races
Check if rosettes have been ordered and arrange to collect

Russell and Debs
David Hemmingway had agreed to help with the races.
Arrange to collect items from RussellÕs for the races. Bean bags, Spoons, Ties for the 3 legged races, finish line rope and lime. Also First Aid Kit, load hauler, barrels for rubbish, BBQ ACTION Amicia and Russell

Golden Ball Trophy Organiser Kevin
The final event will involve lifting lots of different shaped balls with different points and to carry them over a distance. Final ideas to be worked on during Saturday morning.

Heats may be run during the afternoon and then a final that everyone will watch. Prize may be a ÔGolden Ball TrophyÕ Ferro Roche chocolate tower.
