Previous Meeting
Everyone was happy with the Minutes
The RhodeÕs are not keen for a Young Farmers Disco on the Green.
Assets
A meeting with Amicia, Andrew and Mark had taken place to review insurance and budgeting for depreciation. Report on progress later in the year ACTION Mark
Dog Fouling on The Green
Ben Hart had produced a great poster. It had been laminated and could be put on the gate. ACTION Amicia
Bench in Memorial to Terrance Marsden, carry over from last meeting
Raymond had purchased a very nice bench.
It was decided it would be located by the hedge alongside the RhodesÕs lane.
Speak to Mike Dunball about the engraving. The words we would like to use are from the Memoirs and are ÔI have enjoyed every minute IÕve lived in Bishops OffleyÉÉand wouldnÕt change anythingÕ ACTION Patrick

2010 IDEAS
Andrew advised the meeting that Victoria is making progress.
The aim is to establish the Terrance Marsden trail using the
route that Victoria is working on. Progress this with the Council when
everything is finalised. The idea is to use basic information which is only
visible from the path which will all be on public rights of way.

As Jon was away the draw was carried over to next month.
EVENT REPORTS
Hockey on Friday
15th May at 7pm Organiser Russell
Russell reported that was a lower turnout than previous
years probably due to the cold and wet weather conditions. There was also a
clash with a prizes presentation at a school or club. There were enough people
to have 2 good size teams. The final score was 4 all and then they played extra
time but there were no more goals. Russell had been the referee.
Bike Ride on
Sunday 17th May meet at 11.30am Organiser Mark
7 people had turned up but the weather was so wet it was
decided not to do the ride.
FUTURE EVENTS
Sports Day on
Saturday 11th July There will be no overall Organiser
People not available for Sports Day are Russell and Liz, Andrew & Julia. Patrick and Alison have confirmed they will be here.
Teas have been arranged.

A toilet has been booked.
The theme this year is to be BALLS. The event will follow a similar set up to the Olympics
Entrance £2 Adult, Children Free then all events are free.
We will give out stickers like last year as the kids liked to see how many events they had done ACTION Sarah
There will be no medals so stall holders were asked to provide the prizes needed for their event ACTION ALL

For the next meeting please come with firm plans on how your event will work ACTION ALL
The final event will involve lifting lots of different shaped balls and to carry them over a distance. Heats will be run during the afternoon and then there will be semi finals and Final that everyone will watch. Prize may be a ÔGolden Ball TrophyÕ Ferro Roche chocolate tower. Bring finalised ideas to next meeting ACTION Kevin

It was agreed there would be no Promise Auction this year.
There was a lot of discussion about having a raffle with big prizes such as tickets to see Stoke City, Leicester Tigers, and Edgbaston. It was decided it was too late to arrange and people would probably spend the same money even if the raffle prizes were much smaller. People to donate raffle prizes ACTION All
Due to the next meeting only being the Monday before the Saturday it was decided to move the next meeting to MONDAY 29TH JUNE

I have enclosed a copy of AnnÕs documents with many of the items that were covered in the meeting.

There are lots of stalls that need items to sell so please
can everyone look out for items for the Bric A Brac, China Stall, Tombola and
Raffle Prizes. These can be left at The Manor by 11th June Please. ACTION
